Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a bone disease that occurs when the body loses too much bone, makes
too little bone, or both. As a result, bones become weak and may break from a fall or, in
serious cases, from sneezing or minor bumps.
Symptoms
- Loss of height (getting shorter by an inch or more).
- Change in posture (stooping or bending forward).
- Shortness of breath (smaller lung capacity due to compressed disks).
- Bone fractures.
- Bone fractures.
PCOS
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition that affects a woman's hormone levels.
Women with PCOS produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones. This hormone
imbalance causes them to skip menstrual periods and makes it harder for them to get
pregnant.
Symptoms
- Darkened skin or excess skin (skin tags) on the neck or in the armpits
- Mood changes
- Pelvic Pain
- Weight gain
Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in women and the second leading
cause of cancer death in women after lung cancer.Cancer starts when cells begin to grow
out of control.
Symptoms
- breast pain
- red, pitted skin over your entire breast
- swelling in all or part of your breast
- a nipple discharge other than breast milk
- bloody discharge from your nipple
- peeling, scaling, or flaking of skin on your nipple or breast
- a sudden, unexplained change in the shape or size of your breast
